you will use 2 bottles of that MTF on you transmission, the third you will return to the honda dealer, do not put it in your diff

your diff will have a short life if you put Honda MTF in it, save the fluid for the tranny only.

Honda MTF is a good choice....For the TRANS ONLY.I use Amsoil MTF in my 03.Bought it new and has 99,817 miles as of today.

All Amsoil since 1st fluid changes.

Lot's of us S2k'ers run Amsoil SG 75-90,75-110 or 75-140 for the diff.I prefer 75-110.

Something 75w-90 or higher in the diff. If you live in hot climates (always above 60F or so) some people choose to go with a 85w-140.

Some common MTFs are the Honda MTF (which I use, and is probably the most commonly preferred), the AMSOIL (which a lot of people used but it's VERY expensive, but also most likely the tip top quality money can buy), pennzoil syncromesh, and I think the royal purple is somewhat popular as well.

Mobil 1 75w-90 works great in the diff in my opinion. I won't use anything else. You'll need 2 quarts most likely but you'll have like 3/4 bottle left of the 2nd when it's full (if I'm remembering correctly) - it's definitely less than 2 quarts though full.

1.7qts for transmission .7 for the diff and if you can find it a gl5 straight 90w is ideal for the diff but anything between 75w-90 to 75w-140 will work, once you use a fluid stick to it.
