trouble starting my s2k
So heres the situation. i drove the car to school this morning and everything was fine. i came home and parked in my drive way. my dad then comes home and i have to move my car so i rush down, turn they key to 2, and immediately press engine start. when i did that, the dash just turned off and car wouldnt start. now when i turn the ignition in 2 the lights dont come on however if you look closely it is very very dim. i jumped it, and let it charge for about 15 mins. drove it around the block, turned it off and same problem. when i finally gave up i jumped it and proceeded to put it in the garage. as i was slowly backing it up, the car seemed like it wanted to dieout, the dashboard was turning bright to dim bright to dim and a beeping sound came on aswell as the "main req" light.
today is friday, i drove the car to school everyday from the beginning of the week "monday" however prior to monday i havent driven it for about 3 weeks at most however i did start it up once to warm it up within that 3 weeks. because of this i believe that it is a drained battery, however i did jump it and charge it which now i believe it is the alternator..
but for somereason i have a feeling that because i rushed to start my car to move it for my dad i could have blown a fuse? if you cant tell i am mechanically inclined lol please help <3

If you have a voltmeter check the battery voltage when the car is off.. it should be around 11.xx to 12.xx. If its lower have advance auto parts charge it, it takes an hour and its free. Then turn the car on and check the voltage at the battery again and it should read 14.xx... if it doesnt then its your alternator. If the voltage rises and drops as you rev up and down, its the voltage regulator.
When it's really really cold out, it would take a few cranks to start these cars. esp if temps dip down into the 10F...but it's normal for most cars.
In your case, 100% sure your battery is on its last leg, go charge it, but likely it'll go bad again soon. If you're lucky, i might last a few months, mine always die within weeks of me charging it at pep-boys, advance, etc...
