Trunk wont open
IS that the best option though? Drilling carbon fiber is tricky isn't it ? and even then The locking mechanism is removed... I think. I know we took off the safety latch because it wouldn't fit. Can Anyone think of why this won't open? I have pushed pulled banged and I can hear it trying to open but it just wont !!!! we still cant figure out why it isn't opening because the safety latch has nothing to do with the opening mechanism.

Don't know if this will work, but you could take off your bumper (very quick and easy to do) and try to go through the trunk vent. This is a square opening into the trunk, which should be within arms reach of the lock assembly. Unfortunately this is behind one trim piece which you'd have to push off to get to the lock.
Good luck.
Good luck.

i dont think you can get through the trunk vent. that trim piece is sandwitched when the trunk closes isnt it?
sounds like your trunk latch is misaligned and not releasing properly because it is jammed. Take off the tray right behind the safety hoops, it's just a few clips. that will give you access to the trunk area. from there start removing your interior panels and spare until you have enough room to gain access to the trunk arm bolts. Try and take the bolts out so there is wiggle room for the trunk lid. from there, use your trunk release and see if the latch lets go.
Now there is some good advice , Just started a new job at Lamborghini Chicago so im sure I can get one of the techs to help me.
