90crvtec,

i already viewed the le's website and their product comparison...your initial post of "view their website" was completely USELESS to me.

Roadrage was an expert on oil...and you're asking me to step up and fill his shoes? HA...get outta here man, i'm an accounting major.

Besides...i know roadrage has been gone for a long time...the question is essentially a rhetorical question - because roadrage was the ONE to advocate LE-607...he is in a sense, the "father" of le-607 for the s2k community.

thanks for the additional information you added, including the link on page 10...

however, your crass attitude does indeed rub me the wrong way...so, fuq off punk. you talk tough online, and it doesn't impress me...you're an asshole and I bet in person, you've got some inferiority issues you need to deal with.

you don't even know me, so again, keep your crass attitude to yourself and keep it off the internet.

It wasn't useless, you even admitted to going to the site. I gave you the direct source of the information for which you seek. That's far from useless.

jyeung528,

Name Calling is against Forum rules. Consider this a warning.

90crvtec,

- i've checked LE's website WEEKS ago and i've seen their chart...that's why I posted that 1605 is the replacement, not 1604.

- replace the information that road rage used to provide regarding oil analysis? HAHA...year right man, get real.

- i can post as many rhetorical questions as i'd like. if this is YOUR forum and you make the rules...let me know.

- i'm taking my own advice. thanks for the reminder.

I'd never call you a dumbass. It is against forum rules and the fact that I think you're capable of getting this information yourself means that I haven't written you off as a dumbass.

That's great! It's reasons like this why I don't think you're incapable of getting your own info.

I think it's sad that you've written yourself off as incapable of doing any of this. The oil analysis is provided by other companies, Blackstone for instance. We don't have to do the oil analysis ourselves. The raw product data is what we can compile and contrast this with our own submitted oil analysis. This will give us a pretty good idea of which oils are good and bad. None of this is hard to do, and you're perfectly capable of doing it, just like I am. Give yourself some credit man, sounds like I'm not the one with the inferiority issues here?

I actually agree with this statement. But when I post back regarding your rhetorical questions, don't complain. I can post as many responses to your rhetorical questions as I want.

You guys kill me.

Back to the fluid. Looking at the specs, it is clear the M1 is not even in the same league as LE, except at very cold temps.

The thing that frustrates me is the gearset manufacturer is so equivocal about what goes in it. I have seen a ton of complaints over the years regarding the various "factory" spec fills for this unit and the obvious accelerated wear under AX conditions, but strangely no re-spec by the manufacturer.
