I am really excited to offer some assistance regarding our products. However, we can not do the installations of the products for you.

welcome to the board LE guys. i have contacted my local rep dan trupis, he made a great effort to get me a quart of 607. unfortunately he couldnt locate one. i dont have the money to put up for one case, nor the time to distribute. could you please point me in a direction towards aquiring 607 by the quart, without buying a case.

thank you

Since you asked...

Rick's has LE-607 and LE-8130

For sale by the quart.

I made the move earlier as well based upon Road Rage's great work and contacted my area LE rep Mike Carter of Casper, WY. Already have taken delivery of a case of LE 8130. Mike was looking to find a couple quarts of LE 607 for me or failing that decant some from a bulk drum into clean quart containers for me. But instead I managed to get in on Road Rage's second (and last) LE607 case distribution deal.

Great news that Rick's is carrying the stuff now too.

LE has yet to move with gusto into the retail consumer market with their products, targeting fleet sales currently. But the future may see them expanding their sales efforts to address the needs of individual car owners.

By the way. I find the Canada website much easier to navigate than the US one.

LE guys:

We would be interested in a gear oil for our trannies. Honda's product is basically a fortified light gear or engine oil with EP additives. I would estimate its viscosity to be in the 75w/80w range. Engine oil is less lubricious (slippery) than gear oils and allows proper synchro action, while the EP additives help ensure that the higher loads encountered in a transmission rather than an engine provide protection.

What LE product would you recommend?

The other issue for LE guys is your packaging. Having only 1 gear oil available in quarts is not single sales friendly.

GaLubeDude and MFussell, you are most welcome to contribute posts dealing with the "technical" aspects of your lubricants, but before you make pitches to sell your products here or to advertise for your company or any other business, please contact the site administrators to get "sponsorship" details.
