I began my fluid change "career" with one of these. After a few months, it seemed the oils and fluids I was pumping with it tended to deteriorate the plunger seal and the thing stopped pulling fluid up. That's one reason I abandoned the pump method.
How is yours holding up?

The only syringe type that lasted more than once for me has been the Griot's one. You get what you pay for - usually.

The suction pump has worked fine. Made of thick metal, no leaks, and the end cap is fully threaded. Unscrewing the end cap and pulling back on the plunger leaves a large opening to pour oil into. I have not used it for removing oil/fluids. Have used it about 4x. Not much fuss and little muss.... Cost about $9.00 at Autozone.

I may stand corrected but I recall seeing lately that Bulletproof now sells it. I think it was Turbo_pwr that posted that.
