7 psi is safe or very safe?
Our kits come with the emanage and I would not reccomend going over 6psi on pump gas without some form of timing retard or a standalone like the aem

03spa, please do more research into tuning and turbo set up. Do not just rely heavly on your tuner.

Guys, in his question. He asked what is the max boost he can run minus injectors. I don't recommend you run any higher than 6 psi on street with out race fuel. Even if you have EMS. Some people may have been running high psi now. Or have done high boost run a few times. But I talk to some of the motor builders in the industry. You would be suprised to find out how many F20C blew because of over boost. If you are going to boost, do it right. Injectors, build the stock block. Because lessons could be costly and it's only your money.

I agree evo s2000,
And if you are make sure you have a wideband at the very least, however I say 6psi is the ceiling for safeboosting on a turbo S without timing retard or control

Although I haven't tried it yet (but I will ), I'm willing to bet that you can safely go to 9 or 10 psi of boost with a good water injection system and 93 octane. I'm really surprised none of you running FI have tried this yet.

The stand alone is accel DFI gen 7plus. Stock internals minus injectors meaning stock internals however I will upgrade the injectors as needed, however I do not want to resleve, put in new valves, change pistions compression etc... The DFI allows for engine retard.

fperra,

Congratulations on getting the Alaniz head. With the Alaniz head I would hold off increasing the boost until you run it and get a dyno. The head will add more flow so your combustion chamber will see the equivalent of more boost.
The Alaniz head and 7 lbs of boost is like 10 or 12 lbs of boost with a factory head. Remember, more power is harder on the bottom end and it doesn't matter if it is from more boost, higher compression, better breathing or whatever. Go slow grasshopper, don't blow it up. You should be seeing 400+ HP.
