There are plenty of hondas out there with the GT28RS with 380whp or more at around 28psi. They're 1.9L or so and we have a 2.0L with a better flowing head.

he's not going to be running anywhere near that much boost with the stock 11:1 compression ratio though. gotta think about how much power he'll be making around 5-7 psi.

haha, if he doesn't even want to build the engine, what makes you think he wants to mix his own race gas?

I'm currently running 8psi at peak, non-intercooled on a stock engine. It's probably a bit much but as it really only hits 8psi for a second at shift point when driving hard it seems to be holding up just fine.

I'm looking for 6-8 psi with usable boost from say 3000rpm. A predictable later upgrade wouyld be a built motor so there is some argument for using a turbo that is not maxed out, but as this is probably a long way in the future I really don't want to sacrifice now to allow for future possibilities.

with a properly sized turbo for your power goals you should be able to hit full boost around 3,000-3,500 rpms.

since you will only be running low boost, any turbo you get will probably have potential left.
