maybe it's time to switch wastegates. I used a HKS on my turbo eclipse for 4 years running 21lbs without any problems.

Maybe this is one of the good reasons to go with a proven product as oposed to a home project (SPEEDCRAFT).

I/We have had recurring problems with Deltagates, and no longer use them on anything unless specifically requested to do so. Even then I will try to talk a customer out of it. Not only do the actuator rods break, but the part of the body that the valve seats against will corrode and pit, causing boost leakage all the time. Tial manufactures a high quality unit that is a direct bolt-in replacement for a Deltagate, and it is a bargain at $300. Deltagates do make good doorstops, though.

Tracy, I have a Deltagate on my MR2 and I am kinda scared now! I love the Tial product that comes with the kit but the flange is completely different.. which wastegate has the same flange as the Deltagate? (This is the Turbonetics Deltagate you guys are talking about, right??)

As far as speedcraft, i would but my car up against any s2000 with a speedcraft kit and I garantee that i will beat it in any aspect. (dyno or track)

except that your wastegate is apparantly inferior. ;-)
BTW, deltagates are also well known for their boost creep.

but really.. you need to quantify your claim... running same amount of boost? etc etc.
