you have to be kidding me.. OEM's use A/A coolers for cost and simplisity.... why does everyone upgrade there stock intercoolers because they are not capable of high horsepower... svt cobras/lightnings come stock a/w and i don't see allot of people upgrading their intercoolers.... stock pushing ~390+hp. I dynoed a 01 lightning and got 380hp and 460tq to the wheels. keep in mind roots blowers get MUCH hotter intake temps then a turbo. call spearco and discuss you engineering degree.

OWNED... don't think so pal.

I didn't know that the SVT Cobra was built for ROAD racing and not DRAG racing. All those red necks are using it for the wrong type of racing. Those guys must be dumb huh.

well compared to 90% of the cars on the road... Don't get me wrong, i don't like fords as much as the next guy... but fact of the matter is the new cobras are fast and handle well. a good driver in a cobra will hang with just about any S on here.

I wouldn't doubt a good metro buss driver could probibly out drive you...

Just a minute there; I'm pretty sure the Cobra is based on a late 1970's Fox chassis, otherwise known as the Ford Fairmont.

Hmmmm, this all sounds interesting but didn't Lotus use a water to air chargecooler on the Esprit Turbo SE's for years.
