Default UK and US ECUs

Hi,

Does anyone know if the US and UK MY01 ECUs are exactly the same? Would they be mapped differently for different fuels etc?

If your car has the immobilizer system, you'll need to program your existing keys to the new PCM. This has to be done at a dealer.

Yes, The JDM cars have a top speed limiter and no Immobilizer.

Don't know about the others, but Aus S2000s don't have OBDII. I don't know if UK ones do or not, and have never been able to ascertain whether the difference is in the ECU or just a case of not having the supporting hardware (OBDII plug back to ECU).
