Ok a secondary question, my engine seems to have been changed to a uk engine at some point. So I'll have to source a uk ecu, should this just plug and play?

Just to clear up, the car is a 1999 JDM but the engine has been changed to a ukdm one but still ran on a JDM ecu. That ecu is now buggered so I need to change it.
Will I run into any problems regarding ignition keys and looms putting a UKDM ecu into my JDM car with ukdm engine?
