i got my AC from www.asedeals.com they were much friendlier and CHEAPER than ultimate garage. i got mine just before they had the recent price increase.

it's a great jack and the perfect "jack of all trades". the huge 31" lift height gets my full-size SUVs up off the ground too.

I sent an inquiry to Ultimate Garage about a lift. Got a terse response saying they don't ship to Canada or some damn thing. When I emailed a follow up, it went ignored.

I found the lift manufacturer by myself (located in Turkey) and the price was lower than what UG wanted to boot (didn't order it though).

Now I avoid UG whenever I can. Anyone who can't afford webspace for a garage project showing their wares is a pretty damn sketchy business if you ask me.

I must also admit that follow-up about different projects with UG have left me a pretty frumpy also.

It was very easy to purchase this VERY heavy item from this guy because I could drive less than an hour to pick it up, and save on the expensive/slow shipping. It is a great jack and if you can find an alternative source, I would concur with the previous posters to go elsewhere and purchase it.

Regards,
James

I've had the HF jack for about 3 months now and I'm very happy with it. As mentioned, to reach the front jacking point, you need to drive up on 2x4's. Most of my use comes from swapping tires at autoX events, so I lift the sides rather than front/rear and it works perfectly. The rear point is easy to get to with both the stock exhaust and the spugen kit. Most importantly for me, though, is that the thing is light enough to lift into/out of my trailer without hurting myself!

The silver Harbor Freight floor jack is now on sale for $160. If you have to have a color (red, blue or gold), the price is $180. I don't know about shipping, but when I bought my silver jack last December for $200, shipping was free. It was an excellent value then and an even better value now.

Has anyone tried the DK13HLQ with a front lip - tried reaching the front central jacking point? It looks like it just might work based on Reedz photo, the front lip doesn't decrease ground clearance that much actually.

sorry, i have the jack but no front spoiler. my guess is that the clearnace (or lack therof) is within a 1/2" either way. it's a big investment and not the kind of mail-order item tha you want to return ship. someone must have the jack and the spoiler.......

I'm trying to hunt down any group buys at the moment on this jack. Looks like this site might be the best?
