Speedcraft as been out longer, so you may see bigger numbers from their KIT. UR's kit looks really nice.

Not sure why having a kit longer would make it generate more horsepower. Speedcraft's kit made me around 340 at the wheels on race gas and an estimated 300 on pump gas, all from day one.

Hobby what is the company name that is making the kit? I think its a little funny that you can post what kind of HP made when you say you still have to dyno and tune it. Well what are some specs on the kit? What size turbo, how much boost you running to get that 450 figure etc?

Also chrisD, what did you tune you speedcraft with, the AEM EMS? And how much boost were you running to hit 340?

Please everyone. Stick to the SUBJECT.

Hobbyholic, if you want to brag about your set up. Start your own thread. This thread belong to Speedcraft vs. Ultimate racing. Both kits are avaialbe, with dynos are parts to buy. I'm sure you have one nice custom kit to make that kind of power, but I would definitly start your own thread. Your own glory. Know what I mean.

Now. The topic is for comparison of Reliability, Installation problems, and parts comparison of the two.

Both turbo are made for low boost and are made for the street. There's nothing racing about the two. They are made to be bolt on. And the turbo size are for small lag, not for nothing over 500. The wastegates are 35MM. Low end boost. So we definitly can't boost very high. Now let's compare the manifold. I think both are CAST(correct me if I'm wrong) . And let's also compare prices and customer service. That part I don't know, I don't sell them and I never bought from them. This part gotta be answered by the owners. Anyone want to jump in on the parts comparison? WHO use better parts?
