Understanding wireworx wire harness options
I'm shopping around for a replacement wire harness and see that wireworx & rywire are popular here. I have some newbie questions about the options they provide.
F-Series Stage 2 Braided Milspec Engine Harness - WIREWORX
1) Injector Connections - Wireworx offers connections for ID1000 & ID2000. If I want to use ID3000, which connectors would I need?
2) Charge Harness - If I want to do a wire tuck, I assume that I'll need to relocate the fuse box into the cabin? My battery was relocated to the trunk also.
3) Milspec plug location - A/C & Heater are the options. Does that mean I have to give up one of those features to use a milspec plug?
4) Vtec oil pressure - Seems like this is optional as most EMS don't need it? I plan on using AEM infinity 506
5) Optional spare wires - What would be an example of needing additional spare AUX wires? What is something I may add to the engine later that would use one of the spares?
6) Hondata KPRO V4 Options - What is this used for?

Let's see if I can shed some light here.
1. They are just adding in the correct injector clips so all you need to do on your end is plug your new harness in. Figure out which ID's you'll be using. I'm not familiar with the ID family, but the 1300x uses a USCAR connector that is the same as the 1000.
2. This is an upgraded section that is a ground/power part of your harness. My buddy had one and it was simple and clean. If you're looking at a harness, I'd be hard pressed to overlook it especially with relocated pieces.
3. This just determines the rough location of the plug.
4. This isn't needed with an AEM, but having it isn't an issue. Your call.
5. Spare wires are just for adding sensors. AEM has the capability for reading almost anything you can set up.
6. When using Kpro, it actually uses an RSX based cam and crank angle sensor which is added as a separate harness. Checking this will include it as part of the harness as opposed to an add-on.
These harnesses are custom to the max and each separate option will tailor it to your specific application. That's a blessing and a curse. I'd talk to them before I pulled the trigger. I'd hate to see you without an option you need. These harness are a tough resell too because they are so car/ecu/setup specific. HTH.
