Default wire harness 32110-pcx

i am getting my main engine wire harness replaced cause of animal damage.

the part number is 7597164 for the wire harness. They want 463.67 for the part alone and 606.00 for labor.

does this sound right? i dont knnow how much a engine harness goes for nor do i have a clue to how time consuming or difficult it is to replace one. 600 for labor is alot of money just to replace a wire harness i think.

The wiring harness usually connects to something in almost every corner of the engine bay. I'd say your pricing is pretty on par for stealership rates.

Yes, it does sound right. I priced the part alone and I was going to install it my self. Because of all the connection points, I desided to live with my I had.

I assume we are talking about part #1 in the pic?

What is the shop's labor rate?

The engine harness is not exactly something that falls into place, there are many very difficult to reach connectors that can require dissassembly just to reach.
