Hi my S has recently been clicking like a cricket almost. It matches rpm and does not always happen from what I can tell. Sounds like it is whistling when you give it throttle, and almost exclusively from the cabin only, only barely heard from under hood. Under hood it sounds like the top of the motor. Only noticed for a few days now. For some reason i couldnt upload a video of it or of the following descriptions. So furthermore I am getting a huff of air when the throttle is tapped quickly that comes from the intake (very brief). And a faint tap noise from what sounds like the valvetrain or where the intake manifold is. And for a while now it has had a tapping noise only heard in the cabin that has gotten a little louder and faster and which will temporarily subside when the throttle is stabbed. When I showed a video of it to someone who is an engine tech they said it sounded like a lifter. I'll try to get audio of the sounds but for now please let me know if you have had similar experiences. I know its a lot here but im quite concerned now.
