unplugged trunk lock and closed trunk on accident

Default unplugged trunk lock and closed trunk on accident

any ideas what to do? its some CF trunk w/out a keyhole. i unplugged the wire going into the trunk lock to the light would turn off and then i forgot and closed the trunk

how am i going to get it open??

naah

remove your bumper and put your hand through the vent hole and pull
the emergency opener...if we have one...?

you have to remove the softop tray and crawl through that hole to reach the emergency trunk release

that doesn't work either!!!

The only way you can do it b/c i accidently did this once too! is the lower your convertible top half way! and remove the plastic panel under the top and pull it out and then remove the spare tire and push the plastic panel into the trunk and crawl into the trunk and open it using the manual release button if you have one but if not... thats even worse!!! what you gotta do is use a socket and remove the three bolts that holds the latch into place!

It took me like 2 hours and alot of aching body parts but i got it done! Luckily i'm only like 5'4" so you better find someone small and pay that sucker to do it!

thats what i was afraid of..someone can actually fit through there?

would the removing the bumper thing work?

our locks have the emergency release switch but you have to get to it first. removing the bumper would be nearly impossible because there are 3 clips that hold it on where the trunk and the bumper meet. ive seen a couple of my buddies do this.
