Default unwanted increase idle in neutral

i have a MY06. i have notice that when coming to a stop light, i would shift to neutral and the car would idle around 1500 or more. But when i come to a stop, the idle would start to drop slowly down to 1000. any help?

i dont think there is an idle screw b/c this has a electronic throttle body.

Could be the IAC valve. I know this is a common issue with 00-04 Ford Mustangs, basically it was referred to has "hanging revs" usually noticeable during shifts and coming to a stop. To correct it people (including me) restricted the IAC valves ability to affect the idle of the car by inserting a copper cap with a hole drilled in it. This reduced the flow and allowed the idle to drop quickly on shifts and coasting to a stop.

If it is something you are interested in trying it might be a place to start. But with the DBW system it may not need the IAC as it can control the throttle blade directly. If you try it if the hole is to small the car won't be able to idle, to large and you really don't address the hanging revs... I will see if I can find more info on the fix for the Mustangs if interesting in investigating for the S2ks....
