We met the guy who writes TSBs for the S2000 at Fall Colors this year. We should pump him for info.

He was really cool. I talked to him for a while. He and a guy from Comptech were gabbing about engine revs and such; it was great.

The AHM guy brought a piston that had clearly been from an overreved S2000. OMG!!!!

I find that the TSBs on this site are excellent. There are a couple missing though.

According to Alldata the following TSBs apply to the MY2002 s2000. Does anyone know where I can get copies?

1. 98-018 (Jul 03) Drivetrain - Revised CV Joint Boot

2. 00-088 (JUn 03) Brakes - Brake Disc Refinishing Guide

3. 02-053 (Aug 02) Restraint System -Occupant Detection

4. 98-061 (Nov 01) A/T - In Warranty Exchange Program.

Most intersting (I think) is the 1st one re CV Joint Boot.

as previously posted....

the A/T warranty exchange program was a blanket TSB for all honda in 2002. it is specifically for automatic transmissions. suppposeded they were failing prematurely.

since we A/T is not (yet ) available on the S, this doesn't apply, although it is continuously listed for us.
