Default upgrade to 17 inch wheels..help

ok guys...time to ugrade my beast to 17's...can someone please help me with the sizing etc. The manual only states sizes for 16. I dont wanna sound like an idiot but I dont wanna lose any ride/speed qualities by changing into a bigger wheel/tire. I am open to any and all sugegstions for a 17 inch wheels, wheels types, sizes, who makes ones that would fit perfectly etc. I definitley wont do chrome, more like silver racing wheels or a polished or titanium type finish. Im all ears guys..err eyes.

there is some info in the faqs, and there is a database of wheel fitments around here somewhere, forgot the link.

just dont go ordering something before confirming that it will fit. also, check the Group Buy section of this site, you can find some great deals on wheels that work on the s2000.

fyi, faqs are located at the top, or click on this link

Put the wheels second, first choose the tires you want on your car, (example 225/17 & 265/17) then build the wheels with the measured rim required for the tire and offset needed for the vehicle. "Tire patch" is the first goal, then a light weight set of wheels which deliver full suspension travel comes next. My 2 cents.
