USDM ap1 ECU have knock sensor?
Do the ECUs on MY02s have an integrated knock sensor to retard ignition when there is a lower octane fuel used?
I was just wondering because most of the used s2000s are owned by older people, including older women who have no background in proper car maintanence and use. They might have used 87 fuel the entire time they owned the car and this could have caused detonation from the lower octane and f*cked up the pistons and cylinder walls.
I just dont want to buy a used s2000 to find out the piston heads are corroded and the the block needs rebuilding because people can't read the manual.
