Default use V-AFC for SC electronic check valve????

Saw this quote

"...APEX V-AFC that intercepts the signal from the MAP sensor.."

in one of the FAQs

http://www.s2000online.com/faqs/showfaq.ph...?threadid=17430

WARNING! Those with an aversion to possibly dumb questions should read no further!

Can a V-AFC be programmed (or manipulated) into preventing the ECU from seeing boost on a SC engine? I went to the Apexi web site, but it's not clear if you can do this with the unit.

VAFC has no knowledge of boost, and doesn't alter the boost reading.

Wes, that's because of the check valves, Ghostbooster or Voltage Shunt. If none of those devices were in use, the V-AFC would see the boost (because the MAP Sensor would see the boost).
I've got mine wired in with a switch so I can bypass the Voltage Shunt so I can use the V-AFC to check compressor output from time to time to insure system drive integrity.
Rock, I looked and saw no obvious way to use the V-AFC as the Voltage Shunt but think it would be an easy addition for Apexi if they were to upgrade the product.
