The bare metal head is identical. The only differences are camshafts and springs.

ummm....Honda lowered the redline on the 2.2 for a reason...........revving to 9K with a 2.2 head could be asking for huge $$$$ problems.

Installing stronger springs and light weight titanium retainers will eliminate the problem.

You missed the point. The 2.2 head has valve springs that are weaker than the 2.0. This effectively limits the redline with that head. If you rev that head to 9000 rpms you might need a new engine because the valves will float much sooner than the 2.0.

Many on this board have been shifting F22 to 9k reliably for over a year know.
