Using 87 Octane Fuel When There's No 91!!!

The Bottom Line:
1) Cars designed to run on regular fuel do not show a performance benefit from using higher octane gasoline.
2) Cars designed to run on premium fuel (like the S2000) will run on regular fuel, but performance will be degraded.
