Default Using A/C fan on radiator w/ A/C deleted.

My car is track only.

I have deleted all of the A/C components except for the fan attached to the radiator. I was under the impression that the fan would still work when the A/C button and the fan switch on the dash were turned on.

Seems to have worked this way for Rob Robinette.

You can leave both fans in place and run the A/C fan (the driver side fan) for extra cooling by pressing the Air Conditioning Switch in the cockpit.

why not just hardwire the fan into the same circuit as the original rad fan, then when the rad fan kicks on they both do... may need to bump up the fuse in that block though.. ??? not my area of expertise but it may be a good way to get them both on at once..

There really is no "AC fan" at least in the late cars.. Both fans activate when the radiator temperature reaches a certain point somewhere above 180°F or when the AC is turned on. Both. Never just one.

This is correct, that said I removed my AC fan and still have the AC hooked up. Mine was making a terrible rattle and I didn't feel like replacing it. It is like 5-8lbs. So far I only notice a slight delay in bringing temps back down but the only time I really get that hot is when I am not moving. I have even used the AC and noticed no issues.
