V-AFC TUNING
I am looking to step forward into tuning my car. I have the basic I/H/E setup, Spoon TB with ground wires and i am waiting for that T1R Voltage Stabilizer to come.. I really want to get the V-AFC from Apex'i and tune my car from there. I am looking for over-all realiablity and performance. I do know that I will sacrifice a few HP/TQ for reliability, which is fine. The set-up that I am looking for is a well-street tuned / weekend track car. My question is. If properly tuned, how much HP/TQ gains am I looking at? Whats the difficulty degree of tuning the V-AFC? Do I need Dyno time? Or are there pre-sets that I can use for optimal Performance? What is the concept behind the V-AFC? Need help! all info are greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking bout selling my VAFC, plug&play harness, and blue radio door (you can paint the door to match your car with vinyl paint), if you decide after your research that you want one.
Additionally, look up posts by gernby (I think that's his name) an see what he says about it.. most people on here tune theirs for partial throttle, in which case they will have to periodically reset their ECU's so that it doesn't try to compensate for the VAFC's leaning.
However, after research, gernby noticed that if you set it to only lean out when the throttle is at 81% or more, you get the gains you want and the ECU does not try to unlearn what the VAFC is telling it to do.
