V-TEC!
Ok we have a problem. I need serious help no joking. The v-tec in my car isn't working. we tried and changed the solenoid and still nothing, we checked the 12v out put of the AEM to make sure it is sending the 12v and it is sending. We tested the wire from the AEM computer to the V-tec and it is good. We took a wire and gave direct contact and we can hear click. We took the car on the dyno at 4k,5k,6k,7k and then gave the v-tec direct 12volts and it bogs down and revs down instead of up. next thing is to check the oil pressure to the v-tec solenoid to be at 57 psi. I mean we hear it click when we give it direct power but never engages. We cant hear the v-tec come on and the dyno chart reflects it...
HELP!

At this point you have to ethier take the valve cover off and make sure you have the pins in the VTEC rocker arms (you will have to take the cams out) or you should make sure that your calibration is setup correctly within the EMS...
There isn't much left to check...

This is a seperate question....
I just bought an 03, and I don't know what Vtec is suppose to feel like.....I have gone up to 8K in 3rd and it just seems the car keeps on pulling, but nothing like a kick in the pants?
Is this how the 03' model is suppose to feel.....someone mentioned you can tell when Vtec kicks in by the sound and a big jolt in the ass, but I just feel a smooth progression in pickup...
Thanks!!!!
