vacume with ITB"s
I understood that you couldn't use the stock ecu with ITBs but reading these posts it seems that some of you seem to be running stock ecu. Am I misreading this?
Would you recommend ITBs for a race car? I'm thinking on something like an Ultralite that I don't have class problems at the track.

That's what I thought but then I began to think/hope that the vacuum reservoirs etc. were the way to make it work.
Ok, back to my main question. Turbo_pwr said he wouldn't recommend doing it again. Would that just be bang for the buck on a stock car or wouldn't do it even on a race car?
Would you get 99% of the benefit just by using the standalone and therefore there's little need to spend the extra dough on the ITBs?

Probably the best bet is to use a vacuum reservoir/can. Basically string all the TBs together with fittings/vac lines and run these to a common sealed canister. Then run anything you need vacuum for off of this. Of course, since the TBs provide much less restriction, the overall vac you can pull will be less than stock, but it should be enough to run most things.
They don't necessarily need to be separate, but you have the right idea. I think most run vac lines like this:
1-->2-->3-->4----------->Canister
But running them singly should work as well. If I think of it, I'll ask my roommate for an opinion, he's messed with ITBs a good bit on some race cars.

I Just got off the phone with Hank from TWM Induction, He showed me some pics on the ITBS where there is a vacume port for the brakes. Now my question can this be T"d in to work the a/c and heat?
