VAFC Hack does this really work?

I read about this,kinda of interesting and kinda confusing because i don't get exactly what its doing.

Please read and make comments if you like.

Has anyone tried this with the S2000? Could this be a "ghetto" solution for a low boost set-up on the S2K?
