ok, i just picked up a VAFC and i would like to see pics of installs, from the radio door and visor to just mounted anywhere, i searched and the topics were too old and i couldnt see the pictures, any help would be great thanks

 

I'm at work now but will send you some pics when i get home. Mine is mounted in the vent. Looks really nice and still leaves room for the gauges. Plus nothing has to be glued to the dash, avoiding any chance of messing that up. Whats your email addy?

 

Moemers, I have the vafc II, too.

I do not have a picture on hand, but I can tell you where to best location to mount the vafc. If you have the extra money, the radio door is a good choice.

I mount and remount my vafc II periodically. Excluding the custom radio door, the best location is probably right on top of the heat/air condition controls from my perspective. It looks neat plus the wire can come down the edge, which is right of the controls.
