Valve Adjustment
Hey Folks!
I adjusted my valves on MY05 with 9600 miles to 0.008 intake and 0.010 exhaust and the car seems to run incredibly better.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Before adjusting, the intakes were at 0.009-0.010 and the exhaust were at 0.010-0.011.
Anyway, once adjusted, the car seems to pull so much better.
Anyone else experience this?

Here's a link from 2001: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...=0&#entry354805
I had the same experiance. Much smoother (less vibration) at idle and on the highway, also pulls a bit better 2k-redline, but lost power at 2k and below. It was worth it though.
I did the adjustment on my MY'06 at 4k miles.
If I remember correctly, at adjustment, all valves were within the spec range. Something like 6 exhaust valves were 0.010 and one was 0.011 and another 0.012. 6 intake were 0.009 and one was 0.008 and another 0.010. I had all adjusted to tight end of spec (0.008 for intake and 0.010 for exhaust). It made a noticable difference. I plan to do again at 15k. I know many people will say its not worth it, but the adjustment is cheap, and I notice the difference.
Happy motoring!

I did my valve adjustment at 105k and it made a pretty big difference. Engine was smoother. Didn't vibrate as much. Dead stop rolls were also noticeably smoother.
