Sounds good, I think the manual stated 105 for our 00 as well, time to get it done.
Or when valvetrain becomes noisy.

Matco or Snap-On valve adjustment tool makes it sooooo much easier. I had done 4-5 valve adjustments on S's without one and then was able to use another driver's adj tool at the track. Worth every penny!

Most people overlook that part in the manual. Honda really didn't do anything to the engine to justify that kind of crazy valve adjust interval. They just wanted to be like the competition.

I found the when my valves were

I think I already know the answer, but are the 2.2 and 2.0 valve specs the same?

Intake 0.21-0.25mm (0.008-0.010 in.)
Exhaust 0.25-0.29mm (0.010-0.011 in.)

i adjusted mine. 77k miles. the car is smoother and quieter. you can really notice at idle in drive-thru's and close to walls, seems to pull better and more evenly.
when i did the adjustment i found that probably half of the valves were in the top of tolerance or a little worse. and it was easier than i thought too.

Why wait 'till the 100k+ service interval to enjoy precision tuned valves? It makes a huge difference whether the car is old or new. They are not tuned that precisely from the factory. Sure they'll probably be all within spec'd range, but you want them all exactly identical (all intake the same and all exhaust the same, that is) which they won't be from the factory.

Btw- same goes for alignment. A custom alignment is one of the best ways to enjoy your particular driving situation and style. Sure all four corners will probably be within the spec'd range, but within that range, they will all be different.

that's pretty subjective, some of these cars are noisy at idle no matter what (esp if a poor quality oil is used)

what interval does the service manual recommend? 25k?
