Default Valve Adjustment Measurement Interpretation Needed

Hello S2K community!!! 2006 Honda S2000 AP2 with 66K

I started the valve adjustment process this evening. I removed the valve cover with no issues and took my measurements. Car drives perfect and I really do not want to adjust anything but I wanted to share my numbers and see
if my logic is incorrect.

Exhaust Valves
CYLINDER 1 .011
CYLINDER 2 .011
CYLINDER 3 .011
CYLINDER 4 .011
CYLINDER 4 .011

Intake Valves
CYLINDER 1 0.11
CYLINDER 2 0.11
CYLINDER 3 0.12
CYLINDER 4 0.12
CYLINDER 4 0.12

Thank you in advnace

What year is your car? The intake numbers are all out of honda spec. exhaust? see below

I've done numerous adjustments and for my AP1 IN .008, EX .010. For the DBW '06+ IN .008. EX .011...buuuuut, I just recently saw Billman suggest EX .012. I'll be adjusting my AP2 DBW to this new spec in the spring.

I like doing. 010" on the intakes, and .012" on the exhaust using the moderate drag method. I'm looking for the same drag my finger feels as it's dragged along a flat surface.I

OP, those are excellent findings, considering near 80% of the DBW cars I have seen have had tight valves.

.012 on the exhaust side is highly recommended on the DBW cars. You’ll lose an immeasurable amount of power, but gain a large percentage of reliability and longevity. In my opinion, nothing matters more.
