If I still lived in Ohio I would offer to come walk you through it if you wanted to give it a try. The DIY for this is easy enough in fact that i check/adjust mine every spring. Just got done doing it for this year a few weeks ago. Remember to do it on a cold motor. Let it sit over night, then do it the next morning. I can do one of these in around an hour on my car. However i have removed a lot of crap from my engine bay and have the wires semi-tucked so pulling off my valve cover is about a 5min job.
