Does anyone know where I buy a valve adjusting tool?

Also known as a feeler guage? Check your local auto parts store, or the local snap on or mac tool guy.

yup, autozone sells a feeler guage for about $4. you'll have to bend the metal strips to about 90 degrees to use it properly.

Isn't there a tool to both adjust height and tighten the screw all in one. Without using a crow's foot style.

I have a tool that is a hollow socket, I think I got it from Lowes. I think it is called Gear tools or something like that ... I try and see if the Webpage has more info

I bought mine from "Marcucci"(sp?) - a board member. He makes them at home.
20 bucks, I think.

The best tool for the job (although a little expensive) is from Arizona Tools. It's a Schley product. Schley Universal 10mm Jam Nut Valve Adjustment Tool. It's $43.36 but from my experience, well worth the $$$. The item # is SCH88950.
