Default Velcro Strips On Soft Top.

While treating my top with 303 Aerospace yesterday I noticed that I have two velcro strips running vertically down the top on the flap next to the window.

It is not two sided velcro. It is just the plastic bristle side. Both of these strips have lost their glue and are falling off. Do all tops have these? I assume if they do, the strips are to protect the soft top from the hard window when it folds.

Again these strips run vertically in the top flap on either side of the window.

The fact that they are glued in makes me wonder if they are OEM.

If people could check their tops and report back it would be helpful.

Thanks.

They are redundant, as all they did originally was retain the factory window protector. If they are falling off, just peel them off and toss them.
