Hi, my venom kit says to tap into the primary O2 sensor to get a/f readings so the venom computer knows howto adjust the fuel. Venom says its a white wire... my problem... out of the 4 wires, 2 of them are white. The guy on the phone says one is white/black and one is white. this is not the case. i have read that people tap into the ecu harness for the apexi's and such. would this be okay to do with the venom computer, assuming it would be collecting the same info off the sensor as the apexi? i have a 2001.

You want the WHT wire that is pin 16 in the ECM connector C (31 pin).

 

is there anyway you can descirbe the location of that pin in a different way. Assuming i dont have an ECu wiring lay out ( because i don't )

 

Sorry, you're going to have to go in there and figure out which one is the correct plug by counting the pins. Pin 16 will be in the middle row near the center of the plug. It'll be the only white wire near there.

 

Yup its bright white. I believe the other white wire that is confusing you is actually a creamy white and not a bright white.
