I'm hoping someone here can help me, my S is an '01 model and has a Vortech SC and VFAC II.
I had a shop install my VFAC and I'm experiencing some issues that I'm trying to debug. I'm not sure if it was setup properly.

Does any one here have the Setup Config settings for a VFAC II (initial setup).
I wouldn't post this question but the search functions on this site don't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the settings off the top of my head. What are your settings, and what are the symptoms?

 

I'm just starting to debug this... here is what has happened in a nut shell.

The shop installed the VFACII and the Vortech, they did a great job with the SC but they were late in getting me my car and had more work coming in. So I watched the setup that they did for the VFAC (as I waited for my car) which consisted of plugging it into the car and setting the VTEC engagement point. I didn't see them do all of the configuration that I have seen in the manual (ch. 2).

I have occasionally gotten a CEL, and my Scan tool decodes it as a VTEC Solenoid malfunction (I'm also checking it out to rule it out as the problem).

Also, as I understand it the Vortech computer and the VFAC must be installed in series (starting with the Car Computer -> Vortech Comp -> VFAC II). Am I correct with that? I here they don't play well if they are not installed that order.
