I was hoping someone with a S2000 manual could please tell me the part number for the VGS steering shaft. It would be great appreciated.

 

Can anyone from Japan please help me out? I only need the part number so I can order it here in Canada.

 

If you do manage to get the JDM part#, It highly unlikely any North American (U.S. orCanada)dealer can order it through Honda. There aren't many RHD VGS cars that Honda needs to stock parts for.

Try and find one in Japan, or figure out how to machine the VGS wheel to attach to a Non-VGS column.

 

It will also probably cost less to get one machined. Not to mention all the time you'll save on not having to wait for shipping from Japan.

 

If you look on Ebay or over at S2KCA.com, there's is an owner that just sold his car and now has a VGS steering will for sale.

BTW, the splines in the steering wheel were machined to fit the non-VGS steering shaft.

He has it on sale for $500, firm with no airbag (our stock one fits the VGS wheel). Which in my opinion is not a bad price.
