Vibration Issue
I am having a slight vibration at 70+ mph. It appears to be coming from the rear. I only feel it under gas, if I let off it goes away. I am suspecting the CV joints but it is so slight it is hard to nail down. Any suggestions?

Look up swapping the CV buckets. That may be your issue. Typically shows up between about 45 - 70 mph under load only, but that may be it. The CV buckets get pitted and cause this vibration under load (also can happen after lowering the car due to the wear pattern in the CV bucket). The fix that most use is just swapping the buckets left to right so that pitting is on the unloaded side.

Don't think so. The tires are relatively new and it really feels more like a shudder than an out of balance tire. I didn't put it in the original post but the car has 120k miles so it would not be surprising if I had a little wear in the CV. I am thinking about getting a pair of reman half shafts from oreily auto ($150 pr) to see it that fixes it. Then I would inspect and rehab the OEM ones to have ready if needed later.
If you can turn the vibration on and off at will with the throttle (gas on-vibration, gas off-no vibration), then it is 95% chance of a pitted drives side axle drive bucket.
In every case I have seen (hundreds) in has been a pitted left side bucket 100% of the time.
Swap buckets for a $0.00 proven cure.
DO NOT GET AUTO PARTS AXLES!!!! They are solid shaft, they are garbage, and will vibrate worse I promise you.
There is a good reason OEM axles are 1500 a pair. They are large diameter, hollow tube, precision high speed parts.
Auto parts axles likely cost $15 a piece to make, and it will show in the first mile.
