Default vibration in rear

when accelerating I'm feeling a slight vibration in my rear passenger side / could this also be why I been hearing some weird 'clunks' on occasions - what is it usually, if any has experienced this before?

Maybe the cv joint is going out or you have a bad bearing.

If it is a cv joint, that is an easy fix.

I get a vibration around 72 mph and up also. Apparently this is a common problem. Anyone know the fix?

I just did some research and the problem is most likely CV joints. There is a TSB about it.

The next question is can I get it fixed for free from Honda if I bought the car used and not from a Honda dealer?

Yours may not be a CV issue (although it could be). CV's usually make themselves more apparent during acceleration. A vibration at a steady high speed and above is more likely to be tire/wheel balance. Start there as it would be a lot cheaper than a CV.

Would the car still have factory warranty? If so, did you transfer it when you bought it? If not, does it have extended warranty? If so, you may still be SOL if your car is modded in any way. You may still be SOL since extended warranties carry so much fine print and loopholes for them to get out of.

Oh it does it only on acceleration above 72mph. I read a few threads about it, Im pretty confident its the CV joints.

Im friendly with the used car place where I bought the car. Now we get to see how friendly.
