Default Vibration from transmission under decelaration?

How can I tell if this what is to be covered under the TSB for M/T vibration. The car vibrates when I go to stop or slowdown and its in gear. I read that there was a TSB for something like this, and am wondering if this would be covered under that TSB. The car has a 100k warrenty on the powertrain, and since there is a TSB for this I'm wondering if I sould bring this up when I take it to have some paint work done at the dealership this Thrusday.

If you hear a vibration while decelarating in 2nd or 3rd gear between 4k and 3k rpm, it's your clutch plate. Yes there was a TSB for this problem. I had this problem so I got my clutch plate replaced under warranty and the noise/vibration is totally gone. Here's a link to info on the TSB as well as a PDF file of the actual TSB bulletin. You can print the PDF and show your Honda dealer like I did.

BTW, the service person that test drove my car to determine the problem found there to be no vibration he could hear and attributed the loud noise between 4k and 3k rpm to being the "muscle" of the engine . I insisted that this vibration wasn't normal (you could feel an odd vibration on the clutch) so he finally agreed that something wasn't right (he was reluctant because the transmission would need to be removed to access the plate). Boy am I glad I insisted because the day I got the car back it sounded soo much more refined while decelarating. Be persistant!

Yes, it was about 2 months ago when I had this done and my 2 year warranty ends this month. I think (but not sure) that the 100k powertrain warranty should cover this.

Does this problem affect all S cars, or did Honda fix the problem at the factory at some point? Thanks.

TSB is a "technical service bulletin". car manufacturers provide them to their technicians for common problems that have arose with vehicles.

i took my car in for this problem, they didnt hear anything. and the quick 1-2 upshift grind is also present. but they couldnt duplicate i hate dealerships. worked for chevy, i know how they operate.
