I have a MY 00 with 8,800 original miles. Recently, I was on the highway and noticed a strange vibration. When I drive right at 75-77 mph, I feel (steering wheel and seat) a vibration that seems to only be present when I slow down, NOT when I accelerate. It's an odd deal b/c I know that vibration when accelerating can be the half shafts.

The car may have flat spots on the tires as it's clearly not drive much, but I thought that would be felt progressively with speed and not at a specific speed.
Any thoughts?

How old is your tires? Have you get a balance?

 

Is that happening when you push brake?
