Default Viper alarm system question

So I recently dropped my car off at a body shop where I had my bumper repaired for a minor accident I was involved in and when I went to pick it up, the locking beep from the car was 10x different than when I had initially dropped it off. Before when I had dropped it off, the beep was like any other viper alarm beep, very strong and satisfying to hear. However when I went to pick up the car and unlcoked it, it made more of a chirping noise. Any thoughts?

The second link didnt work. I texted the guy I bought the car from and he said that its because the fob battery is low. Which I'm curious why the fob battery would have to do with the alarm noise...
