Default VQ35 engine swap

I was wondering if it was possible to swap the F20c for the VQ35 (350z engine)

anything is possible. but why? i can't even begin to imagine how off that would make the handling balance of the car.

Why do you want to do it anyway? It will make your s2000 a very nose heavy car, which will upset the balance of the car. Your brakes and tires are working much harder which will slow down your time in a long run. Remember, weight is your biggest enemy when racing on tracks.

If you are seriously thinking about a VQ35 swap, have you thought about a E36 M3 engine swap instead. I own all those cars: E36 M3, G35 & s2000. I like the power delivery from the E36 engine much better than the G35. It felt smoother and stronger. Either way, I would stay away from a engine swap.

About the only engine an F20C should be swapped out for is an F22C, and that's subjective at best.

Go nuts and throw in an LS2 or LS6! Smaller, lighter, and more compact than an OHC engine and huge power potential. Hope you got lotsa cash.

why do you want to add 300 lbs and upset the balance of the car, just for an extra 40 ponies?

I have seen recently in Sport Compact car a 350Z with a SR20DET swap in order to reduce weight for track events

with enough money and paitence i'm sure its possible, but there would be no point to doing it. you'd probably have to really hack up the engine bay
