Default VSA BRAKE and ! Light

2006 Honda S2000 stock
44,000 miles
Drive by wire and VSA
Stock brake rotors
Same wheel and tire setup as last year
NO CEL

When I first bought the car, if VSA activated it would flash the exclamation mark on the dash for a few seconds and that would be that. However, at the start of 2016 summer I changed out all four brake pads and flushed the brake fluid. Lately I've noticed that the VSA gets activated more often, and when it does the exclamation mark and VSA light stay on until I turn the car off. The other day the BRAKE light was illuminating exactly like if you had low brake fluid, only at stops when the brake fluid is settled. My brake fluid exactly where I filled it to, near maximum.

Just looking for some input on where to troubleshoot next.

Possibly check to see if you have a stuck float in the brake reservoir.

Did you use Honda Brake fluid or something else? I switched to Super Blue SL.6. Just slight difference in boiling temps (I don't track) but it is designed for newer cars with VSA type systems as well as better ABS (faster pulsing).
Might help.

When I first got my car I flushed it with ATE Super Blue, replaced it with ATE Typ 200 (they are the same I believe just different colours).

Thanks I tried that just after I posted. Drove to autocross yesterday (raced friends car) and had no issues. Tonight I'll try to kick on the VSA safely and see if anything changes.
