Default VSA (!) and handbrake light!

so i tried to install some S/S brakelines on sunday as i was getting the brake line off i stripped the 10mm bolt trying to get it off the hardwire (i bought a special fitted one for the job and it still stripped) so i put everything back together, and i turn on the car and right away i noticed my VSA and (!) and the handbrake light are all on at the same time and my handbrake was down....

whats wrong with the car? is there something i can reset? probably a VSA sensor on the brakeline?

NEED ADVISE ASAP, Friday is SOW and im already registered. i would like it fixed by then if not... ima be pissed but still going F' the VSA

UPDATE: i bled the brakes again, everything checks out.... i guess if theres any air in the lines the sensors will pick up on it... i was probably pissed off bout the bolt giving me sh*t that i was in a hurry to bleed them. my mistake but its all good now

good lesson learned today, double check your S/S brakeline kits even tho the seller tells you it will fit. cuz Earls brakelines dont fit on 06+.. they only make 1 app. and if your VSA and ! and handbrake light is on you probably have air in your lines

Maybe you damaged the ABS sensor?

check the fluid levels as well. That is, if you got it to bleed. If the fluid is low, the brake light will come on, and VSA would probably also throw a light

ok i did all of the above, yes it was on the first set i tried to unscrew from the hardline, and i did bleed the brakes after so theres no air in the lines.

its ok ima try one more thing, ima just pull the ECU fuse out and see if it fixes itself...because i spoke to my lexus mechanic friend he said in some of the new cars they all have sensor that go off after a brake service and the dealership will usually turn off the sensors before they service it and then turn it back on when they are done.

i dont think i made a mistake the pedal feels good and i top off the brake fluid with come cheap dot 3. so i think ima just pull the fuse and see what happens.
worth a shot.

im getting the S/S lines installed 2morrow, so hopefully everything will be ok
