yeah, the first nsx was the first to use variable timing.

I dont understand all this hype about 03s Vs 04s.....We are all enthusiast here. The later models will be what they are, and the newer the same. I really dont think its gong to come down to........................................... "My car is better than your car"........ Lets just enjoy what we have.

It's all good. I have the pic of the '04 dash lined up on photoshop. I'm working on the VTEC animation.
Personally, I love the '04. I'd love to have one. So chill, a little.

Actually no. The CRX SIR (JDM/EURO 90-92) had the B16 with a variable profile for both the intake and exhaust cams. The Integra 1987 1.5l was the first to have variable timing, but only on the intake cam. I think these pre-date both the '92 BMW and the '91 NSX.

I was 5 years old when the first variable timing system (intake and exhaust) came out.
