Doublecheck your oil level anyway. It's not uncommon for the people that work at Jiffy Lube or the dealership who do the oil changes to screw things up.

no point in someone giving advice if you aren't going to listen. You could be low on oil for numerous reasons.

ok i just did its on full it only poped the code when i installed the vtec controller

Which vtec controller, and how did you install it? Did you splice wiring, or use a harness? Which harness?

Take the VTEC controller off and your problem will go away.

More trouble than it's worth.

^^Just like Slows2k say....take that thing off. Maybe BC vtec controller served good on civics but not on the S. You will do more harm to your S than enjoying the sound of the vtec kicking in early. And yes....engine light on is bad.
